Build Your Kingdom Here

Image
My Pastor, Alan Beauchamp, at Praise Assembly has turned this into the prayer for our church at Praise Assembly in North Springfield in Missouri.  This is his favorite song because of the lyrics.  It is a prayer and could even be called an anthem.  I want you to read the lyrics and then you can listen to the song if you would like, I have added the you tube link as well.  But read the lyrics.  I think if you pay close attention to the lyrics you will agree with Pastor Beauchamp in that this needs to be our prayer as American Christians and that this can serve as an anthem for revival in the church today.  "Build Your Kingdom Here" Come, set Your rule and reign In our hearts again Increase in us we pray Unveil why we're made Come, set our hearts ablaze with hope Like wildfire in our very souls Holy Spirit come invade us now We are Your church We need Your power in us We seek Your kingdom first We hunger and we thirst Refuse to waste our lives
