God is waiting for His people. God loves all people, but He has chosen to work through His people. The problem in America is us. His church, we are the ones He is waiting on. Waiting on to do what? Well the verse says to humble ourselves. American culture in general is full of pride wrapped in self reliance. Humble ourselves. God is sick and tired of His people looking at the current election and being dismayed. None of the potential candidates have the answer, none of them will be good for America, and most definitely none of them will save us. The reason why God is sick and tired is that He is the answer and He has already sent the savior....
I was recently blessed to have my first article published in the November issue of Gridiron Strategies. That season we finished with a 5-5 record, but that was a big improvement considering that Sikeston had royally struggled for several seasons. In the article I reflected on our scheme. I tried to put into words what we ran, why we ran it, and how we had evolved to that point. It was one of those things you do and forget about, but thanks to the wonders of the internet, Gridiron contacted me and asked if they could print the article.
